Stanford Graduate School of Business

General Description

Located in one of the most dynamic economic areas in the world, the Stanford Graduate School of Business is committed to innovation. In 2007, the School launched a new MBA curriculum with expanded leadership development, more global content, and more personal choice. Students begin with 8 General Management Perspectives courses, such as Strategic Leadership. A 16-person Critical Analytical Thinking seminar hones persuasive communication and writing skills. From there, students choose one of three classes offered for each of 11 General Management Foundation courses. All students are now required to participate in an international internship, study trip, or service learning trip. The entering Class of 2013 is composed of 397 students from 56 countries. The relatively small size of the class fosters a culture of teamwork.
