We are seeking a Chief of Staff to work in close partnership with the CEO, providing strategic support across the breadth of their activities. This is a vital role at the forefront of decision making at EOF, at a crucial stage in the organization's development. Working hand in glove with the CEO, you will be engaging with leaders from across government, business and the non-profit sector to deliver better outcomes in global education.

Through the leadership of the CEO's office, managing EOF's governing boards, owning critical external relationships and leading special projects, you will play an integral role across the breadth of EOF's work. You will also play a leading role in managing EOF's external communications.

The Chief of Staff position will allow you to rapidly learn from the CEO H.E. Dr Amel Karboul, a leader with deep experience in corporate, political and not-for-profit sectors. This includes being the first woman in history to occupy Tunisia's Minister of Tourism position and co-leading the country's transition after the Arab Spring, leading to Tunisia's Nobel Peace prize in 2015.

We are looking for a proactive and ambitious Chief of Staff who will be comfortable taking on responsibility in all aspects of EOF. They must be able to solve problems without having prior experience, have close attentional to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced and fast-moving environment.

The Chief of Staff role reports directly to the CEO. You will work closely with the leadership team and staff across EOF.

1. Education:
A Master's degree (a Bachelor's degree may be considered with 2 additional years of experience).

2. Work experience:
A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
We welcome applicants from a diversity of backgrounds, but relevant experience could include: management or strategy consulting; leadership at a start-up or growth stage organization; or project leader for a global philanthropy
Experience or an interest in international development, the global education sector, and international aid is desirable.

You display ethical awareness through behaviours that are consistent and compliant with the standards of conduct for international civil servants, UNICEF's values, and relevant UNICEF policies and procedures.

4. Languages
Fluency in English is required.
Proficiency in French, Arabic or other languages in the MENA region is preferred
