Redefine How PepsiCo’s Products Are Sold. Influence the Future of Food & Beverage eCommerce
Strategists on PepsiCo’s eCommerce team are entrepreneurial leaders of innovation, developing new partnerships and building future capabilities for PepsiCo’s online channels – directly impacting how we sell and move our products.
We’re a diverse, nimble, tech-led group growing share of online sales with partners such as Amazon, Walmart, Instacart and more.
With a team of more than 250 associates and offices in Manhattan, Chicago, Plano, and Silicon Valley, PepsiCo has been laser focused on meeting consumer needs and winning in the marketplace.
Investing in eCommerce, digital capabilities and talent has been a huge part of that effort, with $3 billion in retail sales projected for the rest of this year.
The role of Strategy Associate Manager is critical. By working both independently on certain projects and closely with Managers on others, Associate Managers are expected to bring a creative and analytical skill set to solving strategic issues for eCommerce.
Typically Associate Managers will serve on a few of the large, core projects (typically driven by a Manager), plus be assigned a few smaller projects / activities independently.
What a PepsiCo Strategy Associate Manager does:
- Develop high level strategies by working cross-functionally with the broader eCommerce team (based in NYC)
- Perform granular strategic analysis for markets or customers to identify key unlocks to drive growth
- Participate in “special projects” that include developing business case for new platform and product innovation while developing operational strategies
- Work across PepsiCo to identify opportunities where eCommerce capabilities can be leveraged and gain buy-in from senior stakeholders to implement solutions.
- Bachelor’s Degree (MBA preferred)
2-4 years of management consulting experience with exposure to consumer/retail clients or experience in digital/eCommerce (preferred but not required)
Able to work collaboratively with broader eCommerce team in NYC and markets
Analyze data and translate findings into meaningful consumer insights, integrating relevant business knowledge as well as learnings from other projects/sources
Leverage Excel and other quantitative tools for the analytical heavy lifting
Communicate the implications of the analysis to upper management clearly
Leverage PowerPoint to create an impactful, concise, and defect free slide loop
Comfort in ambiguity as demonstrated by being able to adapt in less-structured environment
Strong ability to influence and work through others to effectively navigate matrixed organization while ensuring that necessary stakeholders are informed
We believe that culture should be at the cornerstone of everything we do at PepsiCo eCommerce. We operate with a start-up mindset – agile, innovative and not afraid of failure. We want our team to come to work every day excited to explore new ways of bringing enjoyment, refreshment and fun to the world.
So if you’re looking to solve real world problems at a company that has the resources to make real change, then we want you at PepsiCo.
