Facebook is seeking an analytical, process, detail-oriented Business Planning & Operations Program Manager who can partner effectively with Sales leadership. The role will be part of the Global Clients & Category business. The Program Manager will work cross-functionally with several teams at Facebook, with the objective of enabling sales leadership to make effective, analytically driven, and strategic operating decisions. The primary focus of this position will be to partner closely with sales leadership to identify trends in revenue performance (including drivers like segmentation, solutions adopting and resourcing), improve efficiency in recurring processes (e.g., sales playbook, goal-setting, reporting), and undertake analyses to proactively identify short and long-term growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Facebook, view the world through an analytical lens, be interested in advertising, be intellectually curious, learn quickly, and be able to move fast while keeping focused on high-impact projects. This is a full-time position and is located in our New York Office.
Develop strong collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders and partners within the Global Clients and Category team and across the company, including contributing to/driving cross-functional task forces on major initiatives
Conduct impactful analyses on major revenue and product trends, including segment performance, product adoption, leading revenue indicators, team productivity and sales effectiveness, as well as external market and competitor analysis
Drive ongoing business rhythm (e.g., monthly revenue forecasts, quarterly goaling) as well as longer-term planning processes (e.g., annual planning)
Support sales leadership on short-term and long-term projects including launch of new sales initiatives, segmentation and service models
BA/BS in an analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business or related field)
8+ years of work experience in Sales Finance, Sales Analytics, Sales Operations, and/or Strategy consulting, or 6+ years experience with MBA/Master’s degree
Demonstrated problem solving experience with experience providing business insights and recommendations from data sets
Demonstrated experience to present technical content to audiences
Stakeholder management experience – including managing multiple partners simultaneously
MBA or graduate degree in an analytical field
Experience with SQL
