We are looking for a high-energy, agile individual who can make an immediate impact. As part of the brand team, this person will be responsible for influencing multiple internal and external partners. Strong strategic thought leadership and communication skills will be critical to success.

Job Description

This position is accountable for the critical thinking that builds growth driving annual marketing business plans as well the implementation of these plans.
Leverage insights to develop overarching versatility and multi-cultural recruitment strategy for the brand.
Work cross-functionally with an integrated agency team to develop and implement a fully integrated marketing plan (creative development, media strategy, PR, influencer, events, etc) around our serves and delicious liquids across the entire Captain portfolio.
Lead and implement the media strategy for the trademark that taps into consumer and occasion-based insights.
Manage our agency partnerships and relationships, coordinating with relevant partners and local activation teams to improve the brand’s cultural relevance and drive growth.
Deliver relevant sell-in information to Divisions and Distributor partners through presentations, sell in materials and in market visits.
Develop and launch a transformational innovation pipeline with a specific focus on the booming RTD and RTS segments within convenience.


Lead cross functional agency teams to deliver outstanding integrated communications plans.
Be a key partner to the commercial side of the business. Be performance obsessed.
Develop and harness strong cross functional relationships, including liaising with Global and Canadian brand teams.
Mentor and encourage the ABM.
Live in culture and understand how to connect the brand in culture.
Be proud and passionate advocate for Captain Morgan internally.


Internal candidates must be RN for Senior Brand manager.
8 years of experience in consumer marketing.
MBA and/or agency background and/or CPG or Beverage alcohol experience (preferred)
Candidate will have proven track record of success against Diageo capabilities: Creates Strategies that Win, Creates Possibilities/Finds Solutions, Commerciality, and Creating the Conditions to Succeed
Experience managing creative agencies.
Strong experience with social media and digital marketing
Thorough with ability to work in fast-paced environment.
Demonstrates personal accountability for great well-rounded performance.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Highly skilled relationship builder and influencer – great teammate
Ability to demonstrate consumer insight, creativity and flair
Ability to maintain positive outlook amidst challenges and effectively problem-solve and make decisions.
