The Global Finance team is a trusted partner and advisor to departments across Capital Group. We provide innovative, relevant, and insightful financial analysis to drive sound decisions which impact our shared objective of improving people’s lives though successful investing.
As a Financial Analyst based in Irvine, CA, you will provide business-focused solutions to a range of analyses, reporting needs, and planning activities. This opportunity is ideally suited to early career candidates interested in growing within a fast paced and dynamic financial planning and analysis organization.
Prepare and deliver actionable financial analysis, reporting, and recommendations to support business operations and guide decision making
Create business models that integrate operational and financial data
Demonstrate learning agility to develop expertise in Capital Group’s business model, operations, and key financial drivers to maximize value through work output
Maneuver across multiple projects, initiatives, and ad hoc analyses to balance detailed precision with big picture strategies
Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business analysis, financial engineering, computer science, statistics or related field
1-3 years of experience in accounting, finance or a related function
Demonstrates the following skills: high standards of quality/accuracy, attention to detail, organization and self-review, thoughtful analysis, problem-solving, collaboration, and accountability
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer skills, specifically across the Microsoft Office suite
Experience or strong interest in using data visualization tools such as Tableau and SAP Cloud Analytics desired
CPA or MBA and experience or interest in investment industry preferred
