Does Acing the GMAT Mean You Failed the Ethics Test?

BusinessWeek article makes a correlation between high GMAT and low ethics. I was surprised to see such incitement for blind discrimination where admissions should evaluate someone (e.g. an Indian male with an outstanding GMAT score) not purely on his personal merit, but also on his belonging to a country that is "less prone toward ethical discernment".
